All traditional admission candidates must:
1. Possess at least a baccalaureate (four-year) degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university or a Canadian university before enrolling at NEOMED.
Applicants may be in their final year of progress toward a degree before graduation at the time of application.
2. Be a U.S. citizen/U.S. permanent resident (the latter must submit documentation of status during the application process). This requirement still applies to Canadian university students.
All candidates for admission to NEOMED as M1 students, regardless of pathway, are required to have completed (C – or better) the following prerequisite courses before matriculation:
1. Two semesters of Organic Chemistry and Labs
2. Two semesters of Physics and Labs
3. One semester of Biochemistry
4. Two semesters of Biology and Labs
Entering M1 students, regardless of pathway, may benefit from the recommended courses below (determined by surveying students and faculty):
