WITS Application Deadline 2024
University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) Application Deadline for 2024 for the regular undergraduate applicants. 2024 WITS Application is expected to open online applications from 1st July and close on 30 September 2024. Therefore all qualified applicants are advised to apply now.
University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) Application Deadline/Closing date for 2024 is released. The Management of the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) has released the Application Deadline which application is expected to start from 1st July and close on 30 September 2024.
WITS is also accepting applications from candidates interested in post-first degree law, post-graduate admission, international admission, distance education admission and graduate entry Medical Programmes.

WITS Application Dates for 2024: Applications are open on the following dates;
New Undergraduate students to the University
- NB: The closing date for all applications is 30 September each year. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Before you are admitted to a residence, you will be required to pay R10000 of your residence fees for the year.
- International students are required to pay 75% of their residence fees.
- NSFAS students must have a provisional or firm accept before being admitted into residence.
- Bursary students must provide proof of their bursary upon registration.

Students who are presently at Wits, but not residing in residence
- Applications are done online through self-service. For further inquiries please contact the Central Accommodation Office – located on the Ground Floor, Room SH045, Solomon Mahlangu House.
- The closing date for undergraduates is 30 September.
- Upon receiving an offer of a place in residence, you will have three (3) days in which to accept the offer. After the stipulated time, the offer will be withdrawn.

WITS Late applications 2024
WITS Late application will be considered if only there are available spaces in the programmes that you want to study.
The University of the Witwatersrand offers admission to a limited number of students per programme. Therefore we would advise you to apply within the application cycle so that your application will be accepted and processed by the school.
