The sixth month of the year has already arrived and if you are Sassa social grant beneficiary that means you need to stay up to update with your grant payment dates. Here are the grant payment dates as confirmed by the South African Security Agency (Sassa) for June.
During the first week of each month, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) distributes permanent grants to eligible applicants. Among the grants available are the Disability, Older Persons’, Care Dependency, and Child Support grants.
Sassa has also said that these social grants will begin to be distributed on the second day of each month. As a result of the announcement, beneficiaries will receive their funds sooner each month.
The Post Office began processing grant payment collections for the month of June on Thursday, 2 June 2023; however, no grant payments will be made available on public holidays.
Payment dates for June 2023:
- Older Persons Grant: Thursday 2 June 2023
- Disability Grant: Friday 3 June 2023
- Children’s Grants: Monday 6 June 2023
