Our College is located in Victory Park, Johannesburg, and consists of a co-educational Junior School, Junior High, and High School. We are an independent, non-profit institution serving the educational needs of the immediate and wider community of Johannesburg.
The Junior School invites applications for the following position, effective May 2023 (negotiable).
Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant/Intern
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals.
Requirements for this position are:
• A willingness to embrace and contribute to the ethos, values, and Mission of the College
• Clearance certificate with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register/Police Clearance
• Computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google platforms
• Capable administrator with good organizational skills
• Experience in working in a similar position would be advantageous
• The candidate must be studying teaching
• Proactive person who is a self-starter and is willing to work hard
• A flexible candidate who is able to adjust to different teaching styles and adjust to different grades and expectations
• Confident individual who is able to positively guide children and is able to work collaboratively in a team
• Sound ethical and professional conduct
• An excellent command of the English language
• A willingness to lead and participate in the extra-curricular activities of the College and all areas of school life
