The Eco-generation Program 2024 is here. The Tunza Eco-generation is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 29th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors Program.
Eco-generation Regional Ambassador is an influential position awarded to youth aged between 13 and 24 qualified to represent Tunza Eco-generation, an environmental networking platform for children and youth around the world. Eco-generation Regional Ambassador Program provides exceptional experiences with the opportunities to actively plan, execute or participate in various environmental awareness programs in each region and country.
As a representative of Tunza Eco-generation, Eco-generation Regional Ambassador must embody the spirit and values of Tunza Eco-generation. Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors must take on various roles to promote and raise environmental awareness for each region and country they represent.
Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors would carry the voice of the future generations at an international level.
Benefits Of The Eco-Generation Program 2024
- Improvement of personal environmental leadership skills.
- Enhancement of promotions for one’s organization and (or) environmental awareness programs.
- Online mentoring is provided by mentors to their Ambassador Reports.
- Promotional goods can be provided for environmental awareness campaigns to be planned and executed by the Ambassador:
- Ambassadors who successfully posted 4(Four) mandatory reports by the end of the second month can request Ambassador Goods and Promotional Goods.
- Eco-generation doesn’t take responsibility for tax payments, including tariffs on the requested goods.
- There are countries in which up to 2kg of promotional goods can be sent.
- The 29th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors (hereinafter referred to as ‘Ambassador’) shall be in the position for six (6) months from September 2024 until February 2024.
Eligibility Criteria For The Eco-Generation Program 2024
All Tunza Eco-generation members aged between 13 and 24 are enthusiastic about spreading news and stories about their local environmental issues at a global level.
Criteria
60% Application Form + 40% Activity Points
Based on concrete action plans, six (6) months of coverage plans should be stated.
Any false information on an application form can cause disqualification or cancellation of the position even after being selected.
Any unfair practice in gathering activity points can cause disqualification.

About Tunza Eco-generation
UNEP and Samsung Engineering propose that the social networking platform be an interactive and vibrant site presenting various possibilities to engage youth, children and sports organizations from various portals (webpages with dynamic functions where children and youth are able to upload/update their environmental activities, which will then go live online after it has been cleared by an administrator of the platform, the possibility of working on documents and editing of the same can take place online; various tutorials between experts and young people; voting functions/processes on various competitions, databases for various children, youth and sport processes).
Overall Objective
A dynamic social networking platform offers a range of possibilities for engaging children, their chaperones, and youth and sports organizations to advance their awareness, role and commitment to environmental conservation and protection.
Process
Enhance and facilitate information exchange, communication and resource sharing through Internet, e-learning, videos and other new technologies offered by the platform.
Objectives
- To raise awareness and commitment toward the conservation of the environment from the Tunza Eco-generation members; To facilitate the exchange of information, including best practices between members both nationally and internationally;
- To decrease the proximity between UN experts and members on the platform;
- To create a platform and a database to showcase best sustainability practices in mass (sport) events.
