Here you will be provided with CPUT admission requirements for 2024 intake. See the required documents to submit for CPUT application below:
For South African Applicants:
- Certified copy of your Identification Documents (ID)
- Certified copy of your Grade 12 exam results or
- Certified copy of your Grade 11 (if you’re currently doing Grade 12).
- Email address and Phone Number.
For International Applicants:
- Certified copy of your Identification Document (ID) of your home country.
- Certified copy of your home country’s Passport Number.
- Study Visa in South Africa.
- English Proficiency.
- Medical Aid.
- Proof of IELTS at an overall score of 6 and TOEFL at an average score of 80–104 for Undergraduate programs.
- Copy of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology English Language Programme Test (if necessary).

How to Apply for CPUT Admission Form 2024

To successfully apply for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology admission for the 2024 academic year, follow the steps given below:
- Visit CPUT online application portal via www.cput.ac.za and click on ‘Apply Now’ or go to https://www.cput.ac.za/study/apply/ to apply.
- Candidates should then create an account and log in to continue.
- Carefully Search for your desired Course or Program before applying.
- Fill out the application form and attach your passport picture. The applicant’s passport picture should be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format and must not exceed 100KB in size. Make sure you upload a picture showing your face clearly.
- Follow every step given on the page and then pay your application fee of R100. Late submission attracts an extra R50.
- Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form and generate a reference number (Student Number) which will be sent to the email address or phone number you provided.
- Make sure you provide the correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission are not allowed.
- Track and print your online application form.
Final Verdict
The important thing to note is that the admission requirements for the 2024 Grade 12 learners will be based on their Final Grade 11 marks only, together with any extra program precise requirements (where applicable).
Final acceptance to the program will still be based on the Final Grade 12 results.
Students who applied with their Grade 11 marks must submit a certified copy of their final Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification marks at the beginning of the 2024 academic year.
