Assistant Teacher Precious Poppets Preschool
Upmarket Preschool in Fourways looking for a teacher for children from infants to 3 years.
Only applicants with an NQFL-4 or equivalent qualification within the childcare scope will be considered.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching these age groups is essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Caring for infants and toddlers aged 3 months to 3 years
· Building self-esteem and a love for learning within the group of children
· Educating and helping children reach milestones by their age
· Developing and delivering an age-appropriate curriculum for all children in the group
· Managing assistant staff within the class
· Reporting, computer literacy is a must
Professional and effective communication with parents is non-negotiable.
The candidate should be energetic and have a passion for young children and nurturing their young minds. A positive and vibrant personality with a “go-getter” attitude. Must have own reliable transport. Salary and hours are to be discussed in the interview.
The position is for our baby center which comprises two classes (infants and toddlers) and needs to be managed with close attention to detail.
