Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, create and execute test cases/scripts to meet test objectives
· Report and keep track of bugs and issues detected using Jira
· Learn the proprietary tools of the company
· Work with the developers to ensure the product complies with the requirements before deployment
· Participate in improving and automating regression tests for test efficiency
· Participate in QA initiatives: tool evaluations and process improvements
· Manual and automated testing
· Unit, System, Integration, Functional, Load, API/Web service testing
· Self-managing, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
· Will be testing the actual Desktop and/or Web Applications’ features and functionality
· Programming languages used are Python, Lua, R, Ruby, Shell/Bash, JavaScript
Qualifications:
Junior QA
· At least 1 year experience, specialized as QA/Software Tester
· Fresh grads with QA/Software tester internship experience are encouraged to apply also
Mid-level QA
· 2 to 3 years experience as a QA/Software Tester
Others:
· Has good test case creation skills using any test case management tool (or at least documented in a spreadsheet)
· Has basic knowledge with any programming languages. A nice to have or an advantage if you have experience with Lua, Ruby, Python, Shell/Bash
· Has basic Database knowledge on any of the following: MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
· Experience in using any of the following SDLC/QA tools is an advantage: Jira, Selenium, Jmeter, SoapUI, Postman, Rubymine, Eclipse, TestNG, Rspec, Testcomplete, Apache
· Natural team player who can work well either independently or in a team
· A competitive analytical and problem-solving skills and advanced communicative competence
· Good time management and organizational skills
· A critical thinker and detail-oriented
