The authority of the school has released the Admission requirements for the 2024/2025 Academic Session to inform the general public, especially the aspirants of the Kaduna State University.
Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into KASU through JAMB (UTME):
1. Candidates must score at least 180 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be offered admission into the Kaduna State University.
2. You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course. Check the JAMB Brochure!
3. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
4. Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
5. You must participate in KASU POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission if any for the year.
Additional requirements might apply for some programs and these can be viewed after selecting the Programmed and entry level on the school website when you are about to obtain the post-UTME form.
KASU Admission Requirements For Direct Entry
Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into Kaduna State University KASU through Direct Entry:
1. Direct entry candidates must purchase the KASU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And KASU Portal.
2. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
3. Candidates must have an ‘A’ level/IJMB pass in two subjects related to their course.
4. JUPEB/A’ Level passes in Related subjects.
5. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for your course of choice.
6. Applicant should have a minimum Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
