Competitive Compensation

As one of the most renowned hospitals in the country, we have to offer the kind of salary you would expect from a leader in healthcare. Although salaries vary from position to position, they are always competitive with similar positions in other regional hospitals, and in many cases exceed those of regional hospitals.

Generous Paid Time-off Program

BWH’s unique Benefit Time program is a flexible paid leave program that gives you up to 29 days of leave annually – and 33 days after 7 years of operation. This includes holidays, public holidays, and sporadic illnesses. Compensation time rolls over from year to year until you reach the maximum amount, and employees have the option to make up for the overcompensated time.

Life Insurance

We believe in the security that life and death insurance can provide in the event of an accident and personal injury. For this reason, eligible employees receive insurance equivalent to their salary, paid to whomever they choose. As your salary increases, so does the value of your policy. You can also take out additional insurance for you and your addict.

Retiree Medical Savings Account

This program is designed to help you save and pay for health care costs in retirement, as well as provide access to hospital-sponsored health care plans for retirees. One of the main features of this program is the contribution to matching hospitals to drive savings through the program. You can participate in an RMSA starting in the calendar year when you are 50 years old.

Tuition Reimbursement

As a training hospital, we strongly believe in the value of training. That is why we generously reimburse all qualified full-time and part-time employees who have been with us for more than 6 months for training costs.

For non-hospital, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees, reimbursement is $3,000 per year for full-time employees (36-40 hours per week) and $2,000 for part-time employees (20-35 hours per week).

For professional certificates or professional development courses, reimbursement is $1,600 per year for full-time employees (36 hours per week) and $1,100 for part-time employees (20-35 hours per week).
