If you are aspiring to join Ogun State Polytechnic (Ogun Poly Ipokia) for the 2026/2027 academic year, the first step is to familiarize yourself with their admission requirements.
Ogun State Polytechnic Admission Requirements
For the Certificate Course: The minimum requirement for applicants is three (3) O’ level passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and one science subject in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Additionally, with five (5) years of relevant experience, or any other qualification deemed acceptable by the Polytechnic.
For the Diploma Courses: Applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) O’ level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language, Mathematics, and one science subject. Or possess any other qualification that the Polytechnic may accept.
Ogun State Polytechnic School Fees
Ogun State Polytechnic prides itself on offering affordable, high-quality education. Tuition fees are kept low to ensure access for students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Currently, most programs cost between ₦30,000 and ₦70,000 per semester for Ogun State indigenes and between ₦40,000 and ₦90,000 per semester for non-indigenes.
Some professional courses may have slightly higher fees. These tuition rates are very reasonable compared to other polytechnics and universities in Nigeria.
Ogun State Polytechnic UTME Application
Candidates who selected Ogun State Polytechnic, as their first or second choice during the UTME and scored 120 or above are eligible to apply.
Additionally, candidates who did not choose Ogun State Polytechnic as their first or second choice but scored 120 or above in the UTME can also apply. APPLY HERE
To proceed, candidates must visit the Polytechnic’s website and make a payment of two thousand Naira (NGN 2,000.00) using a debit card from any bank.
Once the payment is made, candidates are required to complete the screening form online.
