WITS Admission Requirements
The minimum Matric requirements (National Senior Certificate) for admission to the Civil and Environmental Engineering undergraduate programme is 36 points. For non NSC matriculants – minimum of 60% at the Higher Grade obtained for Mathematics, Physical Science and English.
Compliance with the minimum requirements does not guarantee automatic admission.
A candidate who has successfully completed courses in Chemistry and Physics at the university or other institution recognized by the Senate for this purpose may be deemed by the Senate to have obtained a pass in Physical Science at a Higher Grade.
