The Mangosuthu University of Technology Student Portal
The Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) has created an online student information structure called self-help iEnabler that allows students to have the right of entry to the MUT Student Portal by logging in with their 9-digit Student Number and 5-digit PIN.

- Visit mut.ac.za
- Click on Student portal on the navigation tab
- Access iEnabler
- Click on Student
- Enter your Student digit and PIN (default (34566) if you haven’t changed it.
- Click on the Login button
Online MUT Registration of Courses
Immediately you log in to the ITS MUT Student Portal. Follow the steps below to register online for your semester courses.
- Find the way to register on the left-hand side of the screen
- You must read the rules and regulations
- Scroll down and click on the Accept button
- Click on Submit Registration on the left-hand side of the screen
- Click on Your Employment Status and select the unemployed option
- Then Save and Continue
- All the list of subjects you are qualified to register for will emerge. Pick all the subjects as you click on the checkboxes next to each subject matter.
- After you’ve done that Click on the save and continue button
- Click the Continue button
- Click on Accept Registration button. Registration is now complete.
- Immediately after you are done with the registration, you must click on Proof of registration which is on the left-hand side of the screen.
- You can now print your registration status.
Fast Way to Get Your Accommodation in MUT
- All applicants in need of accommodation must first apply even if the candidate is funded by NSFAS.
- It is important you refer to the above for deposits to be made if you need accommodation.
- The candidate cannot gain access to the house if they do not complete the payment.
- An SMS will be sent to the entire successful student.
The Easy Way to Apply for Accommodation
- All candidates must visit the mut.ac.za
- The student Portal must be Access
- Then click on Student iEnabler
- The Student Number and the Default PIN that is on the SMS sent to the candidate must be entered correctly
- Find the way to Residence Application
- It is expedient that you read the rules and regulations of the residence and then scroll down and click on I ACCEPT button
- Submit your house Application
- Click on the new record
- Click also on the structure /building/ and a list of buildings will come into view select the building you like.
- All new candidates should select between Residence A and Residence H
- After that Click on Proceed with Application
