Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) Program is designed to help graduates on the Bachelor’s level that wants to do or experience internship just before starting out in life on their own.
Details of Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) 2024
The internship programme is structured and specifically designed to produce a pipeline of competent financial analysts and semi-skilled employees, for the FSCA and the country and to transform the integrity of financial markets and to protect financial customers by promoting fair treatment by financial institutions as well as providing financial customers with financial education and maintaining financial stability.
Recommended candidates will be given an opportunity to learn under the supervision of a dedicated mentor. Interns are assigned to a division, based on their qualifications and career aspirations, and exposed to various competency-based roles during their one-year training. Interns also attend various technical and soft skills training programmes to their programme.
FSCA is committed towards increasing the representation of marginalised groups in line with its Employment Equity Plan. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must declare such on their applications.
Graduates with interest in at least one of the following areas:
- Data Analysis: STEM Degree and EDSA Training
- Conduct Supervision:LLB
- Communication and Language Services:Bachelor in Communications / Design / Art Direction / Web Design
- Enforcement:Bachelor in Forensic Accounting
- ICT: Data and Analytics Services:Bachelor in Information Technology
- ICT: Applications, Infrastructure & Operations:BSc Information Technology
- Banks and Payment Providers:Bachelor: Accounting / BCom Economics / LLB
- Consumer Education:Bachelor: Communications / Marketing / Education
- CFO Office: Bachelor Accounting/BTech/BCom General/BCom Logistics
- Corporate Services: Bachelor of Art/BCom in Administration or Social Sciences.
- Regulatory Framework: LLB / Economics
- Governance, Risk and Assurance: Bachelors in (Law, Risk or Finance)
- ICT: Governance, Risk and Compliance: Bachelor in Information Technology or BCom Informatics or BTech (Risk or Compliance or Governance)
- Disclosure, Advertising and Market Analysis: Bachelor in Economics/Marketing
Applicants must have no work experience and have a strong desire to work in financial services sector.
