Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies within these fields:
- Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics (BSc / BCom)
- Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc (Eng))
- Electrical Engineering / Process Instrumentation (BEngTech / National Diploma)
- Industrial Engineering (BEng / BSc (Eng))
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BSc (Eng))
- Mechanical Engineering / Process Instrumentation (BEngTech / National Diploma)
- Physical Metallurgy / Material Science (BEng / BSc (Eng))
Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above
- Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Bursary: You must be studying towards a BSc or BCom qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Informatics and entering your 2nd year of study in 2024
- Electrical Engineering Bursary: You must be studying towards a BEng or BSc (Eng) qualification in Electrical Engineering and entering your 3rd year of study in 2024
- Electrical Engineering Bursary: You must be studying towards a National Diploma qualification in Process Instrumentation or a BEngTech qualification in Process Instrumentation and entering your final year of study in 2024
- Industrial Engineering Bursary: You must be studying towards a BEng or BSc (Eng) qualification in Industrial Engineering and entering your 4th year of study in 2024
- Mechanical Engineering : You must be studying towards a BEng or BSc (Eng) qualification in Mechanical Engineering and entering your 3rd year of study in 2024
- Mechanical Engineering Bursary: You must be studying towards a National Diploma qualification in Process Instrumentation or a BEngTech qualification in Process Instrumentation and entering your final year of study in 2024
- Physical Metallurgy / Material Science Bursary: You must be studying towards a BEng or BSc (Eng) qualification in Physical Metallurgy or Material Science and entering your 3rd year of study in 2024
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60%
