Citi South Africa is looking for graduates to take part in our year-long Learnership Programme. The year-long program exposes newly qualified university graduates to various Citi businesses and provides them with practical work experience.
Your time here will look something like this
As a Graduate, you will go through a lengthy interview process and they will place if successful in one of the following business areas:
- Operations and Technology
- Finance
- Treasury and Trade Solutions
- Risk
- Investment Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Corporate Finance
- Other Banking areas
- Global Markets
- Human Resources
They are dedicated to showing you the ropes. The Learnership Programme develops key players in today’s changing economic environment, providing you with the knowledge and training you need to make an impact in the African and global economies. They’d like to hear from you.
- You have an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 65% or higher, or a Master’s degree in any discipline.
- A maximum of one year of work experience is acceptable but not required.
- You have excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.
Extensive work experience is not required, but dedication to learning and a genuine interest in the business are.

- Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
- Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Analytical and quantitative skills
