The BankSETA Learnership Program application has kicked off in earnest for young South African persons. Therefore, The BankSETA invites students to apply for Learnership Programme 2024.
If you are a fresh, young South African graduate looking out for an opportunity to meet and work alongside great minds in your field, then why not jump on this and start your journey to a dream-come-through. BankSETA Learnership Program is designed to help graduates on the Bachelor’s level that wants to do or experience Learnership just before starting out in life on their own.
Details of BankSETA Learnership 2024
Learnership Application Closing Date: 30 March 2024
Learnership Location: South Africa
This learnership offers you the opportunity to gain 1 year’s work experience as well as an NQF Level 6 qualification relevant to the banking sector. You will be paid a stipend of R4500 a month for a 12 month contract.

Must have Completed a Diploma / Degree qualification in:
- Risk Management,
- IT,
- Information Systems,
- Informatics,
- Financial Accounting,
- Financial Management,
- Human Resources,
- Statistics,
- Economics,
- Commerce or Law,
- Auditing,
- Marketing,
- Media Studies,
- Graphic Design,
- Computer Science,
- Data Collection,
- Social Science,
- Business Management,
- Project Management,
- Paralegal,
- Banking,
- Quality Management,
- Data Analysis or MIS Analysis,
- Property Studies,
- Actuarial Science.
NB. The BANKSETA also welcomes applications from persons with disabilities.
Requirements / Criteria:
- Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record
- Under the age of 35 as of 1st July 2024
- Currently unemployed
- Currently not participating in a learnership
- Not involved in any other studies from 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2024
- Persons with a disability must provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability
- Only South African citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered
- Effective communication in written and verbal English
