Cleaning the Iron’s Inside (Steam Iron)

Everything you’ll need is costless, and the process is easy. They include;

1. Stir ½ cup of distilled water and distilled white vinegar together, then put them inside the iron.

2. Use a rusted toothbrush dipped in vinegar to clean up white residues and other accumulation in the steam vent.

3. Next, activate the steam and wait for roughly five minutes after connecting the iron.

4. It is best to release the steam button after 30 seconds of holding it downwards or when the vapor is at its strongest point.

5. Repeat this last step several times for the best outcome.

6. Finally, cool down the iron before leaving it unplugged.

Iron Soleplate Cleaner

To clean the iron’s soleplate, we have two confirmed methods, and they are:

Soda Bicarbonate & Water

1. To get rid of every grime, soak the soleplate of the iron in baking soda and water.

2. Scrape the soleplate with a smooth bristle brush or a towel after.

3. Finish the cleaning with a splash of water and dry thoroughly after.

Vinegar & Soda Bicarbonate

For this method, you need a wet cloth, baking soda, and vinegar.

1. Mix the soda and vinegar

2. Dip the cloth in the mixture.

3. Use the wet cloth to clean your iron’s soleplate in other to remove any residue.

4. Finally, place the cloth on a surface, then put the iron on top. Simply run the surface of the iron on the wet cloth.

Let it be as if you’re ironing the wet cloth. Repeat the process until you remove every dirt and that’s it!
