About Georgetown University
In Washington, D.C.’s Georgetown area, there is a private research university called Georgetown University. Also, the institution was originally known as Georgetown College when it was founded by Bishop John Carroll in 1789.

Georgetown Application Submission
Step One – Complete the Georgetown Application and submit it as the first step. You should just need ten to fifteen minutes to complete this form.
Also, this form establishes your official admissions file and enables us to track and link any supporting materials, such as test results or transcripts, that you send with your application.
Therefore, you will receive an email with information on how to set up your application account within 24 hours. Also, after submitting the Georgetown Application, allowing you to work on your application supplement.
Step Two –Your application supplement must be finished and sent. However, please fill out the information needed on each of the supplement sections.
Also, by the application deadline after logging into your application account. (Early Decision: January 10, 2023; Regular Decision: November 1, 2023).

Undergraduate Admissions
Georgetown University welcomes qualified students to all the rights, benefits, programs, and activities customarily given or made available to students at the school, regardless of age, sex, religion, ethnicity, handicap, colour, immigration status, or national or ethnic origin.
Therefore, it does not discriminate in the execution of its educational policies, admissions rules, scholarship and loan programs.

Application Procedure for Undergraduate Admissions
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions must receive all first-year student applications. Therefore, by November 1 for Early Action and by January 10 for Regular Decision.
Also, the outcomes of the previous three and a half years of high school study should be included in these applications. An entire application should contain:
1. Georgetown Application for First-Year Admission
2. Georgetown Application Supplement
3. Secondary School Report (including transcript and counsellor recommendation)
4. Teacher Recommendation
5. Nonrefundable Application Fee
6. Results of the SAT examination or the ACT sent directly from the testing service
7. We will consider no application until all they have received the above credentials. I will send notice of missing credentials via e-mail, but students should try to ensure they submitted credentials on time.
8. Students seeking financial help should submit a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS PROFILE (administered by the College Board). We consider separately financial needs from the application for admission.
Transfer Students
They accepted transfer applications for Georgetown’s undergraduate programs. Therefore, transfer applicants must have successfully completed one semester of full-time study with at least twelve transferable credits.
Also, the equivalent, in college otherwise, they must apply as first-year students. However, the undergraduate degree programs at Georgetown are not open to applicants with a bachelor’s degree from another college or university.
Under the following restrictions, it may offer work completed at other allowed universities credit toward Georgetown degrees:
1. If the course is comparable to the one required at Georgetown, they will grant credit for it.
2. If the optional course is comparable to courses offered at Georgetown, a credit will be granted. Individually, credit for courses not offered at Georgetown will be taken into consideration.
3. Earned grades, such as a C, must be at least one level higher than the required passing grade. If defined as a grade of C or higher, passing grades under a Pass/Fail system is acceptable.
4. Half of the total credits needed for the degree can be transferred, at most. To receive a degree, students must live on campus for a minimum of four full semesters. The residency requirement will not be satisfied by taking summer classes.

Transferring Undergraduate School within the University
However, a student intending to transfer to the University must submit a written application to the school. Also, to which he or she desires to transfer because the five undergraduate schools are separate colleges governed by different deans.
