About Famu Admissions
A $35 non-refundable application fee is required for each candidate. Also, for online applications, payments can be made by wire transfer, credit card, or debit card. Therefore, applications on paper must be accompanied by cashier’s checks, money orders, and waivers of application fees.

Undergraduate Transfer Applicants

Early Admission

International Applicants
International students must submit the following for admission to Florida A&M University:
1. Application for admission with a non-refundable application fee of $30;
2. A certified bank statement of finances
3. SAT or ACT test results, with no exceptions or waivers (college entrance examination); and
4. Results of the TOEFL (minimum TOEFL score requirements are: (Paper-based 500; computer-based 173-; Internet-based 61).
5. Academic background (we must certify credentials true copies from high school; college or University). Also, the Office of Admissions must get original transcripts from each university directly from international institutions.
Academic credentials must be (a) translated into English and (b) examined course by course by an evaluation agency in order to determine academic eligibility for admissions.
