Persons having long-standing work experience but without formal higher education qualifications (Abitur or comparable level) can be admitted under § 11 of Berliner Hochschulgesetz (Berlin Higher Education Act).

Restrictions on admission (Numerus clausus – NC)

As there may be restrictions on admission, German or international applicants holding a German secondary school leaving certificate (Abitur) and EU citizens who wish to embark on a course are required to take one of the following three routes when submitting an application for a course:
