Home Fees
Full-time students
Tuition fees for full-time students in 2023/22 are £9,250 per year for 3 or 4-year undergraduate degrees and top-up degrees, which reflect the cost and the type of course being studied.
Fees for full-time students studying foundation degrees delivered off-campus at partner colleges are £8,750 for 2023/22.

Part-time students
Most part-time tuition fees for the academic year 2023/21 and 2023/22 are £6,935 for 120 credits (£1,155 per 20 credits) but there are exceptions.

Tuition Fee Loans
Full and part-time UK (and Republic of Ireland for 2023/22) students can take out a Tuition Fee Loan to cover the full cost of tuition fees. The loan is paid directly to the University from the Government, and you can apply via the Student Finance section of the gov.uk website.
Repaying your loan
You’ll pay your loan back in monthly instalments once you’ve completed your course and are earning over £26,575 a year. How much you pay back depends on the amount you’re earning.
Maintenance Loans
Full-time UK students can apply for a Maintenance Loan from Student Finance to help with living costs, such as rent or food.
The exact amount of Maintenance Loan available to you will depend on:
- Your family’s income
- Where you live
- What year of study you’re in
- What help you get through the Maintenance Grant
Part-time students may be eligible for a maintenance loan if your course starts after 1 August 2018.
The amount available depends on your living situation, your household income and the course intensity. Course intensity refers to how much of the course you complete compared to how much a full-time student on the same course would complete in an academic year. This will differ for different courses as part-time students can choose how many modules they wish to study.

International Fees
Tuition fee discount for international undergraduate students
International fees apply to any students who live outside of the United Kingdom (UK), but there are exeptions for student from the Republic of Ireland, or with EU settled/pre-settled status. Tuition fees are £12,500 for 2023/22. They are higher because the UK Government subsidises the cost of university tuition for UK students.
Please note that if you have a Student visa, you cannot study any course on a part-time basis.
