Admission Requirements

1. An earned BA or BS degree in communication or a related field from an accredited college or university; 3.0 GPA preferred

2. Official transcripts;

3. Evidence of English language proficiency;

4. Letter of application;

5. Two-page resume;

6. Work example and 500-word personal statement;

7. Three letters of recommendation.

Prior experience in communication practices is preferred, but your excellent applicants without communication-related experience will be considered for admission.

How to Check Your Admission Status

1. Look up your Net ID and KSU Number available from 24–48 hours after your application has been submitted.

2. Read about the Initial Login and Password Information and click on the button to activate your Net ID.

3. Activate your Net ID by changing the formal password.

4. Log into Owl Express using your Net ID and newly created password.

5. From the Main Menu tab, select “Check Admissions Status” and “Pathway to Enrollment” to view your current application and enrollment status; please allow enough time for receipt and processing.
