Applicants must have at least five credits including English Language and Mathematics.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Akwa-Ibom State School of Nursing.
Only candidates with their WAEC, NECO, or GCE with at least 5 credit passes including English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
Also, it would be best if you had Mathematics with not more than two sittings are eligible to apply. Also, candidates must not be below the age of 16 years at the time of application.
General Nursing Programme admission requirements for candidates into the General Nursing Programme of the Nursing Council of Nigeria. Also, candidates must score at least 100 in the JAMB UTME examination.

Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, and Biology.
Including chemistry and Physics in WAEC, NECO, and/or NABTEB. A combination of WAEC/NECO is acceptable.
Can I Study Nursing Without WAEC?
All eligible candidates must possess the stipulated University minimum academic requirements for admission which is a West African School Certificate (WASC).
Or its equivalent, with credit passes in at least five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in not more than two sittings
What is HND in Nursing?
HND in Nursing. OCNS will seek accreditation from the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE).
However, to grant a Higher National Diploma (HND) to students who complete this program. The program will be a direct uninterrupted 4-year course.
