1. Job Title: Digital Designer
About the job
- TFG is looking for dynamic individual to join the Foschini Division Marketing Department as a Digital Designer. We are looking for a Digital Designer to create dynamic digital content and seamless UX-led interfaces in order to deliver an excellent customer shopping experience.
The Digital Designer would therefore be required to provide digital content to all our digital platforms through performing the following duties:
- Social media content & animation (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify, TikTok)
- Website creative: banners, landing pages, buying guides etc.
- Video editing
- Coding – catalogues and static pages (Advantageous)
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design of marketing communications well as content generation to be used across all digital assets & channels
- Manage the look-and-feel and optimisation of website, mobile site, blog and app.
- Video editing
- Design and code interactive content (JavaScript / HTML)
- Conceptualisation and production of fresh ideas for online/digital material
- Efficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, Illustrator as well as Photoshop, and InDesign is essential
To apply you need to:
- Have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Diploma in Graphic Design/Digital/Multimedia
- High level of creativity
- Strong mobile-led UI design capabilities
- Front-end development
- Understanding of basic digital principles: SEO & Analytics
- Up to date with key digital & industry related trends
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Time management
- Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere, After Effects, XD, InVision, SketchUp (Advantageous)
- Basic HTML capabilities, front end coding and animation
- Have experience in website design and maintenance (Advantageous)
- Fashion and trend enthusiast
