Please be aware that SASSA is not currently accepting new Sassa SRD award applications. The day on which this website will be open for new applications and reapplications will be announced by SASSA.

How do I Check my Reconsideration Status for SRD?
The fast way to check out your reconsideration status for SRD follow these steps:
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- The visit to https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/reconsideration
- Type in your ID number and phone number.
- Next, select “Send Pin.”
- You must input the pin after receiving an OTP code by SMS at your phone number.
- It will show the Sassa reconsideration page.
- Select the month for which you want to examine the status.
- In the event that the reconsideration status is “pending,” you might have to hang around for a while.
Status Check on the SRD Reconsideration
SRD Sassa, there will be no new applications reviewed for the period of May 2024 to March 2024 because the reconsideration processing has been finished.
Visit srd.sassa.gov.za and select “Reconsideration status check: May 2024 to March 2024” if you applied for the Sassa SRD R350 award and filed an appeal between May 2024 and March 2024.
Your ID number and the cellphone number you provided while requesting the R350 grant will be requested by Sassa.
How can I update my SASSA financial information?
If you are an SASSA SRD R350 Grant beneficiary who has been given approval, please enter your ID number here if you wish to update your banking information.
You will receive an SMS at the cell phone number you provided when registering for the application that contains a secure link that is personal to you.
To begin, open the link in the SMS and carefully follow the directions.
If you choose to have your money transferred into a bank account, please make sure you are the account’s owner. Your grant cannot be paid into another person’s bank account by SASSA.
Please be sure that the mobile phone number on which you received the SMS is registered if you choose the money transfer option through one of the main banks.
