South West Gauteng College is a TVET college that provides education and training at NQF Levels 2–4 and N4–N6.

How to Apply to South West Gauteng TVET College

- Step 1: Determine the course you want to pursue; career counseling is available.
Fill out an application form, which is available on all of our campuses and at the Admin Center, or apply online. - Step 2: Pay a non-refundable registration fee of R100 or a late application fee of R200, ensuring that you meet the minimum requirements before applying; payment information is on the application form. This does not guarantee your acceptance.
- Step 3: Submit the form to the campus where you want to study, along with your certified ID copy, latest school results, parent/guardian ID copy, and proof of payment. You can submit your documents electronically if you apply online.
- Step 4: Foreign candidates must evaluate their qualifications with SAQA before applying; if this is not done, no foreign students will be accepted.
- Step 5: After submitting your application, the college will notify you if you have been admitted and you will be required to write a pace test. You will then be expected to attend classes.
NSFAS Bursary Applications
- Prospective Students who wish to study at the College on the basis of an NSFAS Bursary must APPLY ONLINE at http://www.nsfas.org.za/content/.
- Although manual NSFAS applications will be accepted, students must apply to NSFAS online!

- They provide “fee-free” learning to South Africans with a joint household income of less than R350 000 per year.
- Applicants who apply online may not apply again using a paper-based application.

The exam informs and educates students about various career options. At the same time, it assesses the student’s personal interest in the various careers available.
