  1. Go to the SMU status checker portal – https://www.smu.ac.za/en/students/apply/
  2. Select and Enter your ID Number/Passport number
  3. Click Sign In by clicking SUBMIT button
  4. Then click the “Login” button to access your admission status.

Congratulations if your name is among the successful candidates in the admission lists of the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University SMU.

How to Submit Your Sefako Makgatho University Application

Here are two ways that you can choose from when applying:

1. Online Application

  5. You are allowed to apply for only two study choices.
  6. The residence section should only be completed if you wish to stay in the University residence.
