2024 NSC EXAM RESULTS: GENERAL INFORMATION
- The results reflected on this website are the results of the 2024 National Senior Certificate examination.
- The Statement of Results is available at the school/exam centre where the candidate wrote.
- Some candidate’s results may be excluded from the results published on this website because of technical reasons. If a candidate’s results do not show, the candidate should please enquire at the centre where they wrote or district/provincial office.
- The Department of Basic Education reserves the right to change any of the information published on this website.
- Results for candidates from the Western Cape will only be accessible after 12h00 on 08 January 2024
How to Check Matric Result Online 2024

In order to your matric Result 2024, you will need to do the following:
- Go to the Department of Basic Education Matric Results Portal – https://www.education.gov.za/MatricResults/ExamResults/tabid/175/Default.aspx
- Enter your Matric Examination Number in the required field
- Click on the ‘Search‘ button to access your Matric 2024 Results
Note: You may need the following to log in: Exam number, Home Language, Your personal details (name, surname, etc.)
How to Check Matric Result using Your Cell phone
- Register via SMS
- Send your ID number and exam number to 35658
- You’ll get a confirmation SMS once you’ve successfully registered.
- SMSes cost R1 and free SMSes don’t apply
- Get your matric results immediately when they are released
- Use the USSD service
- Dial *120*35658# on the release date
- Answer a few multiple questions
- Enter your ID number
- You will get your matric results per subject
- USSD rates apply
