The Mail & Guardian Learnership Program application has kicked off in earnest for young South African persons. Therefore, The Mail & Guardian invites students to apply for Learnership Programme 2024.
If you are a fresh, young South African graduate looking out for an opportunity to meet and work alongside great minds in your field, then why not jump on this and start your journey to a dream-come-through. Mail & Guardian Learnership Program is designed to help graduates on the Bachelor’s level that wants to do or experience Learnership just before starting out in life on their own.

Internship Location: Johannesburg
Internship Closing Date: 18 March 2024
The Mail & Guardian is pleased to invite young journalists to apply for one of five paid editorial internships in its Johannesburg newsroom, running from April 2024 to March 2024.
While each successful candidate will receive a general grounding in digital newsroom processes and editorial production skills, interns will be assigned to one of the following areas: Online, Multimedia and Social media, Arts, Climate and General News.
Fields of study:
- Journalism
- Languages and the Liberal arts,
- Graphic design,
- Sound and Video production,
- Website development.
- and other related fields of study
The internship will run for one year from April 2024 to the end of March 2024. The interns will be based in Johannesburg.
