FRAME Scholarships 2024 is here and is the Intra-African Mobility Scholarships for African Students. The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is set up under the Pan-African Programme (Development Cooperation Instrument) and is based on the experience of the Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme.
The programme’s objective is to improve the skills and competencies of students and staff through enhanced mobility between African countries.
The specific objective is to implement Master’s, Doctoral level and staff mobilities via a strong graduate research and studies programme (GRSP) on Food, Energy, and Water Security (F.E.W.S) with a suite of academic programmes on offer at the partner institutions.

What The FRAME Scholarships 2024 Intra-African Mobility Scholarships Offers
The scholarship package covers the following:
Travel and visa expenses
• One (1) return flight ticket according to travel bands
• Visa costs related to the mobility
Monthly allowance
• Master’s: ¤ 600 and Doctorates: ¤ 900
• One-month equivalent settling-in allowance
• One extra month of allowance for female candidates
Insurance cost (medical, travel, accident)
• 75 maximum per month
Degree-seeking:
Longer mobilities (Master’s or Doctoral) registered at a host
University for purposes of obtaining a Degree.
Credit seeking:
Shorter mobilities (Master’s or Doctoral), registered at home
University who would enrol at the host University to gather credits
towards the registered degree.

Requirements for FRAME Scholarships 2024: Intra-African Mobility Scholarships Qualification
Nationals and/or residents of African countries who are staff, alumni and/or students registered in one of the Partner Universities at the time of application or having obtained a qualification from one of the Universities involved in the partnership.
Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply!

The specific objective is to implement Master’s, Doctoral level and staff mobilities via a strong graduate research and studies programme (GRSP) on Food, Energy, and Water Security (F.E.W.S) with a suite of academic programmes at the partner institutions.
Strengthening cooperation between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Africa will increase access to quality education. It will encourage and enable African students to undertake postgraduate studies in the African continent in the area of Food, Energy and Water Security.
About The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme
The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme is set up under the Pan-African Programme (Development Cooperation Instrument) and is based on the experience of the Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme. The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme supports higher education cooperation between countries in Africa. The scheme aims to promote sustainable development and ultimately contribute to poverty reduction by increasing the availability of trained and qualified high-level professional manpower in Africa.
This project is part of the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme Initiative funded by the European Commission through the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for managing this programme in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC), and under the supervision of the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission.
