Substitute Cafe Assistant Position Summary

Performs food preparation, portioning, packaging, service, and clean up at a school site that may also serve as a food production facility for remote sites. Performs as a cashier and operates a point-of-sale computer. Work Year: ContinuousEmployee Type: Full Time and Part TimeSalary: $17.09 per hourSubstitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis. The intent of a substitute is to fill in for an employee who is on a leave of absence. Substitutes are called for assignments through an automated system- Absence Management (Red Rover). Experience And EducationThe position typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of experience in large-quantity food preparation, food packaging, and serving. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, And/or Testing Required
