Possess a first Degree, not below a Second Class Lower from an accredited university, in a related field. &#8230; Age of 21 and not more than 35 years by 31st December 2023.<\/p>\n<h2>Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) Recruitment 2023\/2024<\/h2>\n<footer class=\"site-footer\">\n<div class=\"footer-logo-branding\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"footer-logo\">\n<div class=\"site-branding\">\n<p>The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) is the regulatory agency of the Republic of Ghana for air transportation in the country.<\/p>\n<p>It also provides air navigation services within the Accra Flight Information Region (FIR), which comprises the airspace over the Republic of Ghana and a large area over the Atlantic Ocean in the Gulf of Guinea.<\/p>\n<p>The GSA was established in 1930 as a unit with Public Works Department (<strong>PWD<\/strong>); in 1953 GSA was granted Departmental Status. It became an Authority under PNDC Law 151 from 16th May, 1986. In the year 2004 the\u00a0<strong>GSA<\/strong>\u00a0Act was enacted to replace PNDC Law 151.<\/p>\n<p>The Civil Aviation Act, Act 678\u00a0of November 2004 provides for the establishment of a Civil Aviation Authority, which will focus on the core functions of Airspace management and Safety Regulations whilst allowing for a different organization to handle Airport development and operations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-7\"><\/div>\n<p>Pursuant to the above, the GSA was restructured into two bodies, that is, the new GHANA Civil Aviation Authority (GSA) and the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) on 1st January, 2007.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FUNCTIONS OF GSA UNDER ACT 678<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the\u00a0GSA Act 678, the functions of GSA include the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Licensing and Certification of Air Transport Operators<\/li>\n<li>Licensing and Certification of Aerodromes and the Construction, Operation, Maintenance and Managements of Navigation Sites.<\/li>\n<li>Provision of Air Navigation Services (Air Space Management) within the Accra Flight Information Region (FIR).<\/li>\n<li>Regulation of Air Transport Services.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting the Development of Civil Air Transport Industry in Ghana.<\/li>\n<li>Advising Government on all matters Concerning Civil Aviation, among other functions.<\/li>\n<li>Provision of oversight for all activities related to civil aviation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/footer>\n<h2><span id=\"How_to_Apply_for_GCAA_Recruitment\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span>How to Apply for Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) Recruitment 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, submission of application is closed\u00a0 \u00a0.
