Often we cannot do anything about Disasters that hit us from natural or unnatural causes. However the effects of these Disasters can lead to breaking up a relationship.

That is why before you start a relationship, it is good to find out your partner’s attitude towards hard times. A partner who doesn’t stay in normal difficult situations will certainly not stay when a major disaster happens to you.

• Will your partner stay with you if you lost your house or car?

• Will he or she stay if you lost your job?

• Will he or she stay if you lost a limb in an accident?

 

Yes, there are some partners that will leave immediately a disaster strikes in. There are those who will stick around but their behaviour and attitude will change drastically towards you until you yourself get tired. But there are those who will stay with you through thick and thin. Pray for these ones to be with.

People like family and friends can easily mess up a relationship if their involvement and influence is not controlled. Some people leave their relationship too open, everyone knows what is happening within it. They are always listening to counsel from friends and family.

 

And with the many voices around, they get confused and make the wrong choices. If you want counsel on an issue, it is best to consult people who have know how and objectivity to help you, instead of allowing every Tom, Dick and Harry to be a counselor in your relationship.
