4. Is Weill Cornell Connect Secure?
Cornwell is dedicated to maintaining the security of your personal information and privacy.
Weill Cornell Connect uses a secure, encrypted link for all communication between you and your healthcare physician and the rest of the care team.
When data is encrypted, it shows that they have carefully coded it to prevent reading while in transit.
Safe Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption, which is the industry standard, is used for this secure connection.
A firewall protects your medical information to prevent unwanted access. You must create your own login and password for Weill Cornell Connect access.
