WAEC Releases The Result Of BECE Candidates In Ghana

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is pleased to announce the release of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results for 552,288 candidates in Ghana.

The results are now available online and can be accessed by visiting the official WAEC website at www.waecgh.org.

 

This year’s BECE results have shown an overall improvement in performance, with a significant increase in the number of candidates who have obtained grades A1-C6 in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science.

The council is particularly pleased with the performance of candidates in the rural areas, who have shown remarkable improvement in their results.

 

WAEC would like to congratulate all the candidates who sat for the BECE and urge them to check their results as soon as possible.

 

The council would also like to remind candidates that the results will be used to determine their eligibility for placement into senior high schools across the country.

 

The council would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers, invigilators, supervisors, and other staff who played a critical role in the administration of the BECE.

 

The council looks forward to continue working with all stakeholders to ensure that the BECE remains the benchmark for assessing the quality of basic education in Ghana.
