UTK Tuition Scholarship

Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the initial step in making a scholarship (including HOPE) application.

The first of February is the priority deadline (NOTE: the priority deadline for the 2022-23 FAFSA has been extended through March 1, 2022). The federal school code for UT is 003530.

Scholarships are available from many of UT’s colleges and academic divisions. Most are given to enrolled students who have satisfied the academic requirements for their majors, however, some are given to incoming freshmen.

You must submit your admissions application by the November 1 early action deadline in order to be eligible for freshmen competitive scholarships, and you must finish your Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) by November 15.

UTK Tuition Grant

UTK Tuition Loan

UTK Tuition Work Study
