UCLA’s 75th percentile SAT score is 1550. This shows that approximately 75% of accepted students have test scores below 1550. We could uncover a 1455 average (50th percentile) SAT score for UCLA.

You might strive for percentile rankings for each part independently. The 25th and 75th percentile scores in math are 690 and 790, respectively.

Try to score higher than necessary in the other portion if you feel your performance in one section is lacking.

Therefore, you can still reach the required composite score even if you receive more points than necessary in one segment but fewer in another.

SAT Score Policy

UCLA considers your highest overall SAT composite score. Therefore, you must send your highest SAT score from all of your attempts. Please take note UCLA does not superscore.

UCLA ACT Score Requirements

UCLA’s combined ACT 25th percentile and 75th percentile scores are 29 and 32, respectively. There are no minimum score requirements at UCLA. However, if your score is below the 25th percentile, it will be difficult for you to be admitted.

The average of the ACT’s four section scores is known as the composite score. You must score close to what you expected in each segment if you want to receive the desired composite score.

ACT Score Policy

Superscoring for ACT scores does not happen at UCLA. For ACT, the College will evaluate your “highest single composite score.”

This means that if you took the ACT more than once, the College would take your overall composite ACT score into account.

UCLA GPA Requirements

The minimum GPA requirement for students in California is 3.0. The minimum GPA requirement for non-residential students is 3.4.

To achieve this much GPA, you must have received a “A” in high school. If you know your GPA won’t be so high, concentrate on improving your SAT/ACT score.
