Salisbury University Tuition Grant
A grant is essentially a gift or free money that is given to you to assist in paying for your education. It doesn’t have to be paid back and can come from the state, the federal government, SU, or private sources.
Only undergraduate students who can demonstrate a compelling need for financial aid and who do not already have a bachelor’s or professional degree are typically eligible for federal Pell Grants. Using the yearly FAFSA, you can apply for a Pell award.

FWS funding is constrained and requires verification of financial need. You are qualified to apply for FWS positions if the financial aid award notification you received contains an FWS award.
Your FWS award amount cannot be exceeded by your total earnings, which are determined by the number of hours you work and your hourly salary. On-campus jobs will pay at least the current Maryland minimum wage ($13.25) per hour.
