Ohio residents must pay $34,499 per year to Miami University in order to enroll full time. This cost comprises $3,087 in additional fees, $1,240 for books and supplies, $14,510 for housing and board, and $13,136 for tuition.

Miami University Tuition Financial Aid

Financial aid covers a wide range of methods for helping you pay for your education. Loans, grants, and scholarships may all be included.

Miami gives merit- and need-based scholarships out, and additional scholarships are available from outside organizations.

While they give some of our scholarships to students who fulfill minimal income or academic eligibility standards, they give others to individuals who do not.


Miami University Tuition Loan

Financial aid as educational loans must be repaid, frequently with interest. Different loans have different costs, rates of interest, terms of payback, and/or borrower protections.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted each year, and they must enrol students at least half-time to be eligible for federal loans.

The dollar amount of these loans could vary on government limits, the time in school, if borrowers are dependents, the cost of attendance, and other financial aid gotten. Families should only take out loans that are necessary to pay for their children’s education.

Through Miami, the U.S. Department of Education offers students federal direct unsubsidized student loans.

Miami administers Federal Direct Subsidized Student Loans on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education. Undergraduates in need of financial assistance may be eligible for discounted loans.

While they enrolled the student at least half-time and during several deferment periods, the government pays the interest on the loan.

There are annual borrowing caps that change depending on the student’s academic year and whether we consider them dependent or independent.

Miami University Tuition Grant

Undergraduate students who show exceptional financial need and have an expected family contribution to a criterion set by the federal government may be eligible for a federal Pell Grant. Based on enrollment status, they make a prorated Pell Grant grant.

Undergraduate students who can prove they have a severe financial need can apply for the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). They give recipients of Federal Pell Grants preference.

Miami University Tuition Scholarship

Prior to being taken into consideration for regional student grants, applicants must be accepted to the Miami Regional campuses.
