GCU has forged connections with hundreds of employers and institutions across the country, offering scholarships to qualified students interested in obtaining a degree, a certificate, or just one course.

GCU Tuition Grant

They give federal Pell Grants to qualified undergraduate students who are pursuing their first bachelor’s degree and who can show a high need for money.

There is no need to repay these funds. If you have previously received your first bachelor’s degree, you are no longer qualified for the Pell Grant.

If you have financial need and satisfy the same federal general eligibility conditions as a Pell recipient, you may be eligible for the federal SEOG (Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant).

They give primary consideration to applicants for this program who also receive Pell Grants for the award year and have the lowest EFCs.

Because of lack of funding, they carry the screening procedure out according to the order in which applicants arrive. Since this is a grant, no money needs to be returned. Per award year, the standard reward is $1,000.

State grants are fantastic tools for helping you pay for your education. They are given out annually to deserving students based on their state of residence.

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant program of the U.S. Department of Education offers grants to postsecondary students who are finishing their requirements for a teaching career and who agree to work for at least four years.

After graduation, you must work as a full-time, highly qualified teacher in a field with a high need and in a school for students from low-income families.

GCU Tuition Loan

Student loans are another option, besides grants and scholarships, for paying for your education. Undergraduate students who show financial need under the Free Application for Federal Student Aid are eligible for Direct Subsidized Loans (FAFSA).

The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on Direct Subsidized Loans while they enrolled you at least half-time and during your grace period, deferring the interest. For all other loan kinds, interest mounts as soon as they disbursed funds.

While enrolled at least half-time, they do not compel you to pay the interest on Direct Unsubsidized Loans; however, you can choose to do so.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can apply for Direct Unsubsidized Loans, but you don’t have to show that you have a need for money.

When unsubsidized loans are disbursed to your account, interest accrues right away. The federal government does not pay the interest on your behalf.

Does GCU give Full Rides?
