These scholarships are for the University of Michigan students enrolling in the College of Engineering at CLSA College. Students must plan to enroll in a natural science field (mathematics, computer science, engineering, etc.) and be a novice.

Students from Virginia are preferred, but also students who live in certain counties of Illinois and Michigan are eligible. Students who win IL or Virginia awards receive a scholarship of $20,000 and IM students a scholarship of $10,000.
