University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Application Deadline/Closing Date for 2026 for the regular undergraduate applicants. 2026 UAMS Application Begins in February 2026 and closes in August 2026. Therefore all qualified applicants are advised to apply now.

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Application Deadline/Closing date for 2026 is released. The Management of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has released the Application Deadline which application is expected to start from February 2026 and close in August 2026.
UAMS is also accepting applications from candidates interested in post-first degree law, post-graduate admission, international admission, distance education admission, and graduate entry Medical Programmes.

Timeline for Fall 2026 Applicants
Below are some key dates and milestones for Fall 2026 admission. Note: All deadlines are effective as of 11:59 p.m. MST on the dates indicated.
Dates for the UAMS College of Medicine
- February 19, 2026 – “Plan to Enroll” becomes available for applicants in AMCAS
- April 15, 2026 – Applicants must narrow their acceptance offers to three medical schools. Applicants can hold any number of offers for wait-lists or alternate positions.
- June 30, 2026 – Applicants must choose “Commit to Enroll” for UAMS indicating they have made their final selection and informed other schools that they are withdrawing their application.
- August 3-6, 2026 – Orientation
- August 6, 2026 – White Coat Ceremony
- August 9, 2026 – Classes begin
*Deadline to apply for guaranteed housing. Residence applications may still be considered after this date.
