The management of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) advises all admitted students to Print out their 2024 Admission Letters. UMaT Admission Letter will indicate that you have been offered Admission into the University.

This UMaT Admission Letter contains Necessary information About the school such as faculties, school fees, Hostel, department, the degree you are pursuing and the duration of the course, basically everything you need to know about your admission.

How to Access Your Admission Letter

1. Visit their official website to access the admission list;

2. Use your name or reference number to search for the status of your application.

NB: Only successful applicants will see their names and reference numbers in the list;

3. Click on the “Print” button shown against your name to open the admissions portal;

4. Log into the admissions portal with your reference number and pin to download and print your admission letter, fee schedule and Items list.

1. University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, (cash office). BY BANK DRAFT

2. Accra Guest House of UMaT, Dansoman (Akokofoto) BY BANK DRAFT

3. UMaT Guest House at KNUST campus, Kumasi. BY BANK DRAFT

4. Dosonec Co-operative Credit Union, Tanoso, Krofrom, Amakom in Kumasi.

5. Post Offices of all Regional Capitals.

Account Name: University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa Cash is NOT acceptable at these places.

How Many Halls Are in UMaT?

UMaT has three halls of residence. They are the Chamber of Mines Hall, the Gold Refinery Hall and M. T. Kofi Hall (K.T. Hall).

The Chamber of Mines Hall is located at the western end of the campus.
