 Living in Wales

Your Tuition fees in 2023/22 will be £9000 a year but may be increased in subsequent years of study by an inflationary amount determined by Welsh Government. If you are studying for your first degree you will not have to pay the tuition fees upfront, as a Welsh student you will be eligible for:

  • A repayable tuition fee loan of £9000

 Living in the EU

New EU students starting their Undergraduate studies in 2023/22 will be admitted as an International student for VISA and Finance purposes.

Your Tuition Fees will be chaged at the same rate as International students however for 2023/22 EU Bursaries will be available to reduce your fee to the equivlent UK rate. Note, you will not be eligible to apply for UK government student support via Student Finance Wales/England (SLC).

 Sandwich Year Fee costs

If your course includes a Sandwich Year (either a Year in Industry or a Year Abroad) your standard Tuition Fee costs will be reduced pro-rata for the session the Sandwich Year applies, this is normally the 3rd year of a 4 year programme.

  • For a Year in Industry you will be charged 20% of the agreed standard fee
  • For a Year Abroad you will be charged 15% of the agreed standard fee

 Part Time Study

Tuition Fee costs and funding availability for part time undergraduate students will vary depending on your cohort year, programme of study and level.

PGCE, SOCIAL WORK, GEM, NURSING AND GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMS (UK STUDENTS)

  • PGCE, Social Work & Graduate Entry in Medicine (GEM): Tuition Fees will be £9,000.
  • Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science and Healthcare courses: If you are funded by the NHS and receive a full bursary, your fees will be covered in full.  If you are non-NHS funded (or opted-out) the Tuition Fees will be £9000.

  • Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL): Tuition Fees will be £8200 with Fee bursaries available from the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law to reduce the fee costs for more information please contact the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law

If you are funding your program personally or not eligible for student support please select the relevant category below for essential information on how and when to pay your fees:

 Are you externally sponsored?

If you are sponsored by an external organisation such as a Charity, Employer or Overseas Government/Agency please ensure that your full funding details are sent to the Student Finance Office, Singleton Abbey, Singleton Park, Swansea SA2 8PP (prior to your enrolment).

If you do not have an official letter from your organisation please arrange with your sponsor to complete a Confirmation of Sponsorship form.

 Additional Costs

In addition to your Tuition Fees, you should bear in mind that there may be further costs relating to your course as well as the everyday living costs.
