Therefore, Interested applicants can apply for their admission before the closing date for the registration of UDS admission 2023 which is scheduled between June 30th to July 31st, 2023.

The University for Development Studies announces for the information of the general public that applications are open for the admission of prospective applicants into various undergraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year. Applicants should take note of the following:

GHANA WASSCE/SSSCE – Minimum/General Entry

Requirements General Entry Requirements into Campus, Accra City Campus and Korle Bu Campus.

An applicant for admission to a degree programme at the University for Development Studies must have at least credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science (for Science related programmes) or Social Studies (for non-Science related programmes) and three elective subjects in Science for applicants applying to Science or Agriculture related disciplines or three elective subjects in General Arts/Business for applicants applying to non-Science related disciplines, with the total aggregate not exceeding 24. In addition, Science applicants should have at least a grade of C6 in WASSCE/D in SSSCE in Social Studies/Life Skills and non-Science applicants should also have at least a grade of C6 in WASSCE/D IN SSSCE in Integrated Science/Core Science.

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

(For International Applicants and Ghanaians with Foreign Background)

American High School Grade 12

An applicant for admission to a degree programme at the University for Development Studies must have a Final Grade Point of at least 3.0. For admission to the University for Development Studies Medical School and the University for Development Studies Dental School, an applicant must have a Final Grade Point of at least 3.25.

Admissions will be to Level 100.

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR Cambridge ‘A’ and ‘O’ Levels Minimum/General Entry Requirement

GCE (Cambridge) – ‘A’ and ‘O’ Levels

Applicants must have three relevant subjects at the Cambridge ‘A’ Levels.

In addition, they must have at least five (5) passes including English and Mathematics at the Cambridge ‘O’ Level.

How to Buy University for Development Studies (UDS) Admission form 2023/2024

All Ghanaian applicants for the 2023/2024 Academic Year admissions are required to use the UDS online application portal. The procedure for the online application process is as follows:

Make a payment of GH¢ 200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for Undergraduate E-Voucher or GH¢ 250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis) for Postgraduate E-Voucher at any Stanbic Bank, GCB Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), National Investment Bank (NIB), Prudential Bank,  Zenith Bank and Ecobank branches throughout the country.OR
  2. Visit UDS online payment portal at www.pay.uds.edu.gh with a Master Card or Visa Card to make an online payment of GHC200.00 (Two Hundred Ghana Cedis) for the undergraduate e-Voucher or GHC250.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis) for the postgraduate e-Voucher. Print the advice slip for future reference.
  3. The E-Voucher contains the PIN, and Serial Number required for the completion of the online form.
