UCC Reopening Date and commencement of first semester of the 2026 academic year is schedule to start on January 2026. Following the directive by the President of the Republic of Ghana for all tertiary institutions to reopen in January 2026.

The management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announce the Reopening Date for the commencement of academic activities for all fresh and continuing students for the 2026 academic year.

University of Cape Coast (UCC) First Semester of the 2026 Academic Year is schedule to start from 9th January, 2026. These arrangement applies to both fresh and continuing students.

University of Cape Coast (UCC) Reopening Date for 2026

1. The First Semester of the 2026 Academic Year will start from 9th January, 2026 instead of the originally scheduled reopening date of 14th November, 2026.

2. This arrangement applies to both fresh and continuing students.

3. The detailed Academic Calendar for the 2026 Academic Year will be announced in due course.
