The Global Leader of Tomorrow award is worth a whopping sum of $20,000. However, you can renew the amount for four years to total $80,000.

The International Entrance Scholarship of Distinction is worth an incredible $35,000. Likewise, candidates can renew the funding for four years to give $140,000.

Both fundings are renewable as long as they maintain high academic standing throughout the academic year.

Eligibility

For applicants to get consideration, they must meet up with the following requirements:

• Applicants must have applied at the University of York before the application. Only candidates applying for undergraduate programs are eligible.
• Only international students with a study permit in Canada are eligible.
• Your high school has to nominate you for the award. very high school can only select one student.
• The candidate must be applying immediately after high school or at least two years after graduation. There should be no former college studies.
• All applicants must have an outstanding academic record in previous studies with at least an “A” average or an equivalent.
• A letter of recommendation will be necessary.
• Applicants must have shown leadership in previous educational experience either through community service or excellence in a field like sports.

Only applicants nominated by their schools will stand a chance of winning either award.

• As an applicant, you should begin by communicating with your school principal, counselor, or any other chairperson. Ensure your school is selecting you for the scholarship.
• Drop your name, email, phone number, and school position in the nomination form, as well as details of the nominator.
• Ensure you have applied to York University to receive a 9-digit York reference number to proceed. 
• Once you have your 9-digit reference number, pick up and fill out an application form.
• Finish and submit every application two weeks before the date of the deadline. 

Calgary International Entrance Scholarships 

The University of Calgary offers this award to great students to honor their achievements. The International Entrance Scholarship is a highly prestigious award that begins as undergraduate studies commences. Benefits 

The scholarship is worth $15,000. This amount is renewable for three more years at the University of Calgary, with certain criteria attached. This feature makes the award worth about $60,000 in four years. 

However, the student must attain a GPA of 2.60 or more with a minimum of 24.00 in the previous term. Only with such excellence can the candidate renew the scholarship 

Eligibility 

• Only candidates outside Canada (international students) are eligible for the program. 
• The candidate must have registered for a full-time course at the university before the term begins. 
• Every applicant must meet the English Language Proficiency requirements of the university. 
• The candidate should have a GPA of  at least 3.20 in present studies 
• Candidates must be new students with no college experience

Humber College International Entrance Scholarship 

This exemplary college offers full and partial tuition scholarships to first-time undergraduate applicants. The scholarship offer is renewable annually and begins before the term resumes.

All students, including international students, are eligible. It is open for any undergraduate program at the college. 

Benefits

The value of the scholarship varies depending on the student’s GPA on admission. It could range from $1,500 and go as high as $4,000

The scholarship is renewable in subsequent years. However, the candidate must attain a minimum average of 80% to be eligible for this renewal.

Eligibility 

There are just a few criteria for students to meet to be eligible. These include:

• The student must be coming directly from their high school or secondary school studies. The student must not have college experience. 
• Students within and outside the country are eligible. 
• The Degree program is not available to transfer students. 
• It is not open to those who have studied in the Humber’s EAP program. 
• Students with a minimum of 75% in their final admission average get automatic consideration.

University of British Columbia Scholarships for International Students

This funding is, in fact, one of the biggest there is in Canada. It recognizes students from everywhere worldwide, offering financial assistance for undergraduate studies. 

It offers four sub-awards to students.
