Things You Should Never Do To Your Penis

Genitals don’t come with instruction manuals, so it’s sometimes hard to know what we can and can’t do to them.

However, it should be noted that there are proper and improper uses of a penis

You probably know all the proper ways to use your penis and hopefully you’re know about the ways you shouldn’t use.

However, if you’re not, we’ve created this handy article of firm DO NOTS when it comes to your todger.


Have a read and make sure you’re not doing anything that could mean you end up in hospital or jeopardising the health of you and your pecker.


1. Don’t Try To Bend A Hard Penis

Your penis isn’t designed to bend at extreme angles, especially when it is in its erect state. It’s recommended you don’t try to attempt bending the penis past 30 degrees.

Sometimes, it’s out of your hands (literally) and the force necessary to cause this injury may occur during sexual intercourse. when the partner is on top and bends too far forward or backward.

The good news is that if you break your penis, the condition is highly treatable. However, doctors warn many men are too embarrassed to do anything about it.


2. Don’t Bite A Penis

The skin surrounding your pecker is incredibly sensitive and puncturing it through biting could result in serious injury.

According to a paper published in the January 2022 issue of the Visual Journal of Emergency Medicine, a 43-year-old man had the tip of his penis (aka, the glans) bitten by his partner during sex.

He thought it was a relatively minor wound at first, however it worse over the next five days.

As the pain increased and the tip started to turn black, the man finally got some medical help.

He received intravenous antibiotics in the emergency room and was examined by doctors from urology and the infectious disease department, who told him he had necrotic tissue. This meant meas cells at the tip of his penis had died.

Thankfully, the man didn’t lose any part of his penis; after taking antibiotics his penis was back to its normal colour, although there was some “minimal glans penis deformity.”

Unfortunately again, doctors say patients who are bitten on the penis often do not seek immediate medical care, and the disease process often progresses.


3. Don’t Flick Or Slap A Penis

A penis is very sensitive and a serious injury could be caused from flicking or slapping a penis, whether during sexual intercourse or not.

Some people may even like to even use their own penis to slap during sex, however this should be done with caution to avoid injury and also discussed with a partner to make sure you both consent to this.


4. Don’t Apply Excessive Friction To A Penis

Many people enjoy a bit of friction when it come to their penis, however getting too carried away could result in a friction burn.

A penis friction burn is a sore, red area on the skin of your penis, which is the result of intense rubbing.

Common causes of friction burn on your penis include sex or masturbation, drying your penis too roughly after washing, or wearing tight clothing.

These burns should heal itself in around a week. You can help treat it by avoiding anything that will rub the area, practising good hygiene, and applying a soothing, fragrance-free moisturiser or gel.


5. Don’t Use Fragrance Down There

Many people experience odd smells from their nether regions at some point, and you may be tempted to put a bit of after-shave or similar down there, however that is not recommended.

Formulas with fragrances and dyes can irritate sensitive skin, and bring up a nasty rash.

Try using an un-perfumed soap instead – more basic the better and use a washcloth to clean up down there.

Make sure you rinse too, as lingering product residue can cause itchiness and odour.


6. Do Not Put Anything Inside Your Penis

“C**k-stuffing” or “urethral play” includes inserting objects into the urethral opening often to the length of the shaft to enhance sexual stimulation.
