A $200 housing deposit must be paid by students online using their Solar Account. This Priority deposit and applications for on-campus housing for the spring of 2024 must be submitted by January 2.

The deadline for making deposits is January 18 at 5 p.m. Therefore, the deadline for submitting the housing application is January 19 at 5 p.m.

If you paid your deposit in Solar today, your housing portal will be updated the next day when the application goes online, allowing you to continue. Once in Solar, carry out the following steps:

1. New First-Year Students: go to Solar For New Students – Pay Initial Deposits/Fee

2. For new transfers: go to Solar For New Students Pay Initial Deposits/Fee

3. New Graduate Students: go to Solar Campus Housing Graduate/Family Apt. Deposit to pay

Special Tips for Out-of-State and Out of Area Students

Mail delivery to residents is possible on the main campus. It is strongly advised that students delay sending bulky items so that they arrive after they come on campus.

This is because the mailroom operation is at its busiest at the beginning of the semester.

Please be aware that we cannot accept shipments for those who are not already residing on campus. Extremely large items, such as furniture or auto components, that require freight or other carrier delivery services won’t be accepted for delivery.

While it is requested that students bring their bed linens and towels. Also, a limited amount of these items will be made available in each Area Office on a loaner basis. Upon request for students who are unable to travel with these items.
