Special Tips for Out of State and Out of Area Students
Mail delivery to residents is possible on campus. It is strongly advised that students delay sending bulky items so that they arrive after they come on campus because the mailroom operation is at its busiest at the beginning of the semester.
Please be aware that we cannot accept shipments for those who are not already residing on-campus. Extremely large items, such as furniture or auto components, that require freight or other carrier delivery services won’t be accepted for delivery.
While it is requested that students bring their own bed linens and towels, a limited amount of these items will be made available in each Area Office on a loaner basis upon request for students who are unable to travel with these items.
Bedding and other linens must be purchased, laundered, and then sent to the area office so that they can be used by other students.
